If you haven't heard already, there's been a massive recall of canned pet-food by Menu Foods, a company that produces for most major pet-food brands in North America.  The company says that only ten animals have died so far but there were five cats dead just at Valley Vet in Hadley from kidney failure caused by the food, and a bunch more hospitalized.  Please, if your cat or dog seems lathargic and isn't eating, take him or her to the vet right away!!!  Also, until they find out all the brands affected, the vets recommend only giving dry food.
